The meeting was attended by representatives of the founders of the Forum:

  • Mikhail Nepran, Vice President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
  • Lyudmila Mussina, adviser to the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, coordinator for cooperation with regional program EU-OECD-UNIDO-UNEP "Greening Economies in the European Union's Eastern Partnership Countries. (EaP GREEN)
  • Ivan Ivanets, deputy head of the departments for international activities of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine;
  • Svetlana Berzina, president of the All-Ukrainian NGO "Living Planet", and representatives of the key partners of the forum.

The meeting of the Committee was devoted to the renewal of the Organizing Committee of GREEN MIND 2014, as well as discussion of the basic topics of the coming forum and its information and organizational support.

During the meeting was formed the Organizing Committee of 15 representatives of public authorities, public and scientific organizations, and business associations.

Organizing Committee GREEN MIND 2014

Chair of the Organizing Committee: Mikhail Nepran, Vice President of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, his deputies: representatives of the founders of the forum Lyudmila Mussina and Svetlana Berzina.

Secretariat of the forum: staff of the All-Ukrainian NGO "Living Planet".

The Organizing Committee approved the following focus thematic areas for the current forum:

  • Association Agreement Ukraine - EU: benefits and risks for the business;
  • Business excellence and sustainable business development;
  • Energy efficiency and energy saving technologies for cleaner production;
  • Responsibility in marketing and communications;
  • Sustainable public procurement;
  • Management systems, audit and examination;
  • Standards for sustainable development.

Deadline for the formation of the Forum program - up to August 1, considering applications for participation with the report – up to 1 September.

The Organizing Committee members supported the position of Chair to strengthen the program by business to business case studies with practical examples of models of sustainable development, modernization of production facilities, as well as the transition to the requirements of European legislation (on the example of Eastern Europe countries - EU members).
